Straight to sungai wang to meetSp_a1553 mum. after hours of shopping, bought new shoe, next stop: Delifrance - Beef spagetti Meatball & Lobster soup... exploding taste... you have no idea how good is the soup till you've tried it, optimum portion on the spagetti. great sause, meatball average.
Night time, reunion in uncle andrew's 2nd bro'sSp_a1554 place @Cheras Hartamas. Love the place, Breezy & quiet. A welcome never to forget... A whole family standing in a line at the front of the door & clapped when we arrive (w e're d last one to arrive), feels like some mob boss came back to hometown: china..
Sp_a1576I loveeee  Dinner!! a (pot luck) Chinese round table dinner , feels like a traditional chinese dinner, ppl chat, tease, laugh, drink, eat.... no meal feels better than this kinda environment. The Food was.... beyond description. I'm a huge fan of home cook food. We had mix brown rice with good fish, Sp_a1577 mushroom chicken, hainanese duck(not in pic), pork soup, "ma-thi + lap cheong", friend prawns, soysause sambal prawn & mix vege. Fav Jap Jelly & Mandrin oranges for Dessert. Went back stayed in Regent Hotel with Mum & Uncle..

Chinese New YearSp_a1579_1
Sp_a1581Sp_a1583 Rise & Shine... freezing cold, with the working table facing an awesome view.. i don't wanna leave this room! the shower was refreshing, feels like a waterfall & the toilet bowl's height is just right! dang... soak at the bath tub before shower with a hot towel steaming on my face. Inspired me to work harder to afford a life like thisSp_a1591 every single day. Lunch went to same place, u.andrew's bro's place. Its a tradition there that they eat vegetarian on CNY. Even vegetarian rocks... I stuffed myself with 2 bowls of rice & lots & lots of food... Had vermicelli cabage fungi(the soup was to die for) meat-look-alike stuff (not sure what's it made off), fried "tau ki" & chilli padi.... Can i just shout.... AAARRRgggggg.. I miss it!!!Sp_a1604 After lunch & a little shy minggling with the famly, its time for "The Moment" All givers line up to give, All Receivers line up to take, Wishing Happy New Year & Red packets filled our pockets.
Sp_a1617 Dinner at E.E's place at Sunway PJS9. (Mum's eldest aunt) Althought this year food was not as great as the years before it's still great... chicken curry, mix vege,Sp_a1622 soysause pork, Sambal Udang, ketupat rice, all was great except ketupat rice(i prefer rice).. mouth wattering food, stuffed myself again... after a little chat, went for supper in a mamak near the hotel. the food, food a little above average. Assam fish, white rice & telur mata kerbau (sunny side egg).

2nd day of CNY
Sp_a1633Morning, Dim sum at regent itself... not a big fan, but variety was wide. love the blacksause pork & almond nut dessert. went back home with all the goodies mum brought, watch movie when mum & uncle: The Protoge. Daniel Wu & Andy Lau rocks... no question about it. Dinner at TGI: had Lamb Chop,Sp_a1638 Sp_a1636 Nachos, onion soup (soup's good), some liqour with oreo mix like icecream shake. (drink's not bad either). not a Fan... portion too big, by the time i finish halfway its cold. Not a place for me.

3rd day of CNY
Sp_a1654 Woke up early morning again, went to Jusco Food court to have my Fav chinese meal. Dried Laksa noddles with bawang, jelloSp_a1658 mushroom, Fishball soup & an egg. (Best served in Mid Vally Oasis Food Court - Pan mee stall), hang out MPH, lunch at Jusco's Western California Bar. Ate My 2nd Fav Food: Spagetti Cabonara. the sause, ham, the portion & temperature.... perfect. Dinner with Cams @ Mamak in Centre point, we tried to see the difference in Maggi goreng & Indo MeeSp_a1662 goreng. Both with Telur Mata. Maggi smells good, once in the mouth, lose its dryness, ajinomoto boost its flavor. Indo mee, not much fragrance, spongy & dry... Winner: Indo. Food was average, company was good. Thanks for the great time Cams!

4th day of CNY (started working)

Last day for my Vday-CNY journal of delicious-ness (25th Feb)
Invitation by one of our Senior Lions member : Uncle Chan Hoi, went all the way to Serdang, @ a restaurant call Hee Lai Ton. Can you believe they had vallet parking? hah~ Didn't realize it was my 1st day of CNY having Yee Sang! One of the BOMBS of my Chinese Food History . A Meal Fit for the KIng.
Food Served:
1. Yee Sang (salmon was huge & fresh!)
2. Four Seasons - [pork wraped with honey fried crisp, dried scallop, steamed scallop ( this one's super! fresh & tender, fried roll with curry fish, chicken & salmon all in one]
3. Sharkfin soup - Filled with thick "real" sharkfin, tender king crab... fine taste, one of the best i've tasted.
4. Suckling pig - The Skin & Mini legs are great, dip with some great sause + onion.
5. Fish - forgot the name, the skin was so juicy, less fattening, meat was so crunchy you can differentiate the veins from the muscle of the fish.

6. Muscles with mushoom, scallop & juicy sauce - Chinese style mix vege, it can't get better than this.
7. Tiger Prawns - it's fresh & huge, but reminds me of Fei Lou Steambot, Rm6 was kinda cheap for prawns like that, taste almost identicle
8. Wax duck & "lap cheong" rice. Best i've eaten. Perfectly steamed, it taste like a typical duck rice x10.
9. Dessert - O-mochi, Bean Pau & Laici sea coconut sweet soup. (Average)
10. Wine - from 3 different countries: Switzerland, Australia & France. One of the Best wines i've tasted. learned a little wine appreciation tips too!
Cost per table: RM700++ (10pax) *exclude wine
